Makeup and how i look 3 months after baby's birth

This is how i look with my baby fat. I have about 10 pounds to loose but it is alright. Soleil is not sleeping through the night and i do look tired. I find myself eating a lot of chocolate and it is ok. I was so deprived with the gestational diabetes that i went overboard when it was gone. I started to eat it moderately now.

The Paris apartment Terrarium DIY

When you live in Paris, you are most likely living in an apartment where the light and room is not there. This is why we love terrariums so much.

I bought plants from the garden store. You will need plants and flowers for inside the house. If you are not sure ask someone. All plants need to be low light.

A big tip to make this garden successful is to vary the textures and leaf shapes. They  are between $2 and $3.

I started with a pink African violet, then with Shefflera 'luseane' and Fittonia 'Josan'.

You will need a wide glass bowl. They are between $3 and $5.

Miracle grow is very good to use.

 Window sill arrangement and deco.

For a total of $11 it is an amazing terrarium.

My Aunt Marie-Therese from France just send me some treats. Shalimar, Guerlain smells so good! I think it is a new favorite.

Crepes dentelle de Bretagne...So good. I forgot how good are all our cookies. And how much i would like to be close to my family. I am very blessed to have great family members in France.

Easter lemon cream coconut cake egg nest recipe, great for a special occasion!

This cake is the most delicious, easy to make ever. You can decorate it like the picture above or with candy to make a nest cake for Easter.

The lion House cakes and cupcakes book with the Lemon cake and coconut recipe was my inspiration.

Lemon cream and coconut cake

All you need is a box of yellow cake mix and a can of lemon cream pie filling from Dunkan hines.

Follow the cake mix direction and add the lemon cream, saving 1/2 cup for the filling.

You will want to make the cake to the size you want. I like small cakes, so after freezing the cake i cut the 2 pieces i wanted.

I cut the 2 pieces in 2 to make more layers.

The filling is just 1/2 cup lemon cream and 1 container whip cream. Beat it together.

Use the filling also for the outside of the cake.

Cover with shredded coconut.

Shape a nest.

The eggs are Jolly rancher Jelly beans.

RIP Teddy

Our dog Teddy had been very sick with a skin condition that would not heal, this past year. He would not eat, never grew up and finally had a skin infection and we had to put him down.

He was the best and sweetest dog ever. I guess Golden retriever do not live long and it doesn't seem fair. He was only 3 years old our years.

We have the best memories with him. RIP peace. We will see you next life.

I just threw my first toy in Mimi's face. This is my gilty face. Je viens juste d'envoyer mon premier jouet dans la figure de Mimi, Oui, c'est ma figure quand je suis coupable.

Circus tent Birthday cake DIY

This cake looks complicated but it is not. The shape is simply from a big cupcake mold. Yes, you thought i ran out of ideas with it! Perfect shape for a circus tent!

You will need:

2 boxes of white cake mix,

1 can of strawberry Duncan Hines pie filling & topping

Make sure you oil and flour your mold.

I used 2 cake batters, one with the strawberry filling and one without.

Pour the blend one and then the strawberry one. Swirl it with a spoon or leave it like that.

Follow the temperature instructions on the cake mix box.

When cooked place in freezer, it will come out of the pan and will be easier to take out of the mold.

You have to cut the extra cake parts to make them fit together.

Then turn for the icing...
